Website: https://www.stockholmdesignweek.com/
High Point Fall Market is a bi-annual conference that typically draws over 75,000 people per event, making them arguably the most significant furniture trade shows of the year. Exhibitors set up shop across the 11.5 million square feet of exhibition space, making it the largest furniture trade show in the world. Its significance and scope attracts visitors from every corner of the globe, including VIPs who know that High Point is not the show to miss.
High Point Market Fall 2020 was one of the few major interior design events that took place after the coronavirus outbreak, and it set the bar for how to orchestrate a major interior design trade show in the throes of a pandemic. While the Spring and Fall 2021 events did not reach the level of attendance of pre-COVID years, the events went off without a hitch, and the Fall iteration brought back many of the entertainment elements of Markets past – and 2022 seems certain to do more of the same.

This rebranded event, produced by theMART, will exhibit the new product lines of over 300 luxury brands across furniture, accessories, lighting, and art, as well as kitchen, bath, and building materials. It will also include design seminars, culinary events, and VIP guest appearances.
International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF)
Where: Jacob K. Javits Convention Center · New York City
When: Nov. 2022 (2022 Dates TBD)
Website: https://icff.com/
After being cancelled in 2020, the world-renowned ICFF returned to the interior design events calendar in Fall 2021, marking the first year the event merged with WantedDesign Manhattan, a platform for the design community that produces content and hosts industry events. Together, the two shows will present more than 800 design-driven exhibitors at the Javits Center in Manhattan, plus additional keynote speakers and panels.
But the big takeaway is that after a slow return to normal in 2021, the 2022 interior design events calendar looks healthy and strong. With demand for interior design services and home furnishings continuing to remain high, and an excitement to network in person, expect the upcoming interior design trade shows to be more important in 2022 than ever.
